Hoi An is a UNESCO World Heritage city on the central coast of Vietnam, famous for its centuries-old tradition of silk lantern making. Every evening, the Ancient Town glows with hundreds of handmade lanterns — a living tradition passed down through generations of artisan families.
At hoianEshop, we bring this tradition directly to you. Our lanterns are made by skilled local artisans in Hoi An, using the same techniques that have lit up this city for hundreds of years — now available for your wedding, event, or home around the world.
🤲 How Our Lanterns Are Made
Each lantern begins as a carefully shaped bamboo frame, hand-bent and tied by our craftspeople. The frame is then wrapped in 100% Jacquard silk fabric — a luxurious, tightly woven material that gives our lanterns their signature richness and glow.
We offer several fabric styles to suit every occasion:
